A cellist since age 5, Gabriel Dresdale is a multi-instrumentalist and composer who was born and raised in Woodstock, NY. After studying Music at SUNY Ulster County Community College, Cello Performance at The Music Conservatory at Brooklyn College, and Cello Performance, Composition and Political Theory with the late composer and baritone saxophonist Fred Ho, Gabriel Has made Woodstock his home once again and now performs and teaches in and around the Hudson Valley.

Gabriel is currently playing with and writing for the Hudson Valley based bands Levanta and Sonark Trio, both collaborations with the multi-instrumentalist and sound healer Thomas Workman. He also shares his original songs and spiritual teachings with Mariana, his loving and devoted Brazilian partner. Gabriel teaches private music lessons from his home, and is the artist in residence at Christ's Lutheran Church in Woodstock.

Through his music, Gabriel strives to create a synthesis of intellect and emotion; tackling the challenges of environmental, social, and political change through his art. Gabriel Dresdale hopes to contribute to the spiritual awakening and renewal of humanity, and to help inspire the formation of a global community in which human beings coexist peacefully with each other and the earth.
